Shopping Adresses in Paris: Friperies

Last weekend, after my orchestra rehersal I went on a winter jacket hunt. But since it may be my last winter in Europe, I did not want to spend much because later I still have to sell it or give it away before going back to Malaysia. I opted for fripperies, shops selling vintage second hand clothings. I was really glad to have found a black classic and elegant Comptoir des Cotonniers winter jacket for only 5€. Ok, so maybe I will have to send it to the dry cleaner later on. But it was still a very very GOOD deal. FYI, winter jackets at Comptoir des Cotonniers normally cost 100€++. So yeay!! *Patting my own shoulders*

K-Mart, Paris

New discovery !!! I found a Korean + Japanese supermarket in Paris. Rue Saint-Anne is very known as the Mecca of Sushi and Bibimbap area, there are gazillions of restaurants to choose from. Not forgetting their supermarkets as well if ever you feel the need to make home made sushi instead. But yeah, K-Mart is one of them. 

Apart from selling groceries specialized for Korean and Japanese cuisine, they have this cutest little cantine where they sell fresh out-of-the-oven variety of dishes like Bibimbap, Onagiri and rice set, Miso soup, and many more. Ok, so they don't provide tables and chairs to properly eat your food.. :( But no worries, the food are hell cheap and you can easily eat at next door's Japanese boulangerie (that's what I did)  

I bought a lunch set Onagiri and rice for 6,50€ ( no picture, I gulfed it down in a matter of seconds) and this bottle of pure Japanese Green Tea, WITHOUT SUGAR mind you for 1,50€.

Luahan Perasan

Blog ini sudah lari dari tujuan asalnya. Pada mulanya, blog ini bertujuan jadi tempat meluahkan perasaan, kinda like my psychiatrist. My sister said, Generation X of nowadays ada sedikit hesitant untuk meluahkan what they feel secara oral. Facebook dan Twitter dijadikan mangsa untuk memaki-hamun, meluahkan rasa sayang, tak puas hati, berlagak dan macam-macam lagi. "Eh, bagai dipanah tepat ke dada. Siapa makan cili akan terasa pedasnya!", kata benak hatiku. Haaha


Ok, mengaku saya juga begitu. I'm not good with words, neither am I good with expressing my emotions. When I have problems, I'd rather cry it out all alone and tunggu sambil settle baru cerita dekat parents. That's how I am. Kesian mummy and daddy, they are pretty worried about me still not finding my practical placement. And I am not helping them by staying quiet and not telling them anything.


Ok, getting to the point. I am super stressed out about my work placement right now!! I feel like it's my biggest hurdle of year 2012. Esok ada interview with Volvo (on the phone, Alhamdulillah kurang sikit stress) and next week with France Telecom (tak set date and time lagi, but gonna be on the phone jugak). In all, termasuk these two akan melalui 7 interviews. You see what I mean? I cant even explain how I'm still surviving after all that rejections and negative replies. Rasa macam tak ada rezeki, rasa macam Allah is mad at me for a reason. Motivation level pun sangat bleurghhhh right now. Help me Goddd!!

New year's resolution; banyakkan baca benda bermanfaat supaya hati tidak kosong dan sentiasa ada pengisian untuk guide through life. I guess it's ok to go laugh out loud while baca 9gag.com or baca manga once in awhile. But yeah, 5 minutes a day untuk baca an article yang berunsur keagamaan untuk sentiasa mengingatkan diri sendiri pun sudah cukup insya Allah


 My recommandations are as below:


1) Yasmin Mogahed


One of her recent articles that I loved the most: The Ocean of Dunya

2) Iluvislam
Banyak articles yang di submit oleh pembaca umum. Mungkin boleh relate sebab semua articles in Malay dan pasal situasi-situasi di Malaysia. Cerita pendek dan cerpen berasaskan agama pun banyak.


3) Ustaz Azhar Idrus
Alhamdulillah, rakyat Malaysia tak kisah umur dari zaman muda remaja sampai golongan emas dapat menerima ceramah beliau, mungkin sebab beliau suka buat lawak. Dan selalu masuk tv, especially dengan Zizan Lawak.

4) Harun Yahya

Movie Recommendation: Les Intouchables

I love this film. I cried a lot, for once, for a French film that does not involve love and couples. Omar SY nailed it !! He is one talented and humble actor :) He's the tall black guy in the trailer, he's French originating from Africa.
